Ingredients

For Lavender Latte:

  • 1 tablespoon culinary lavender buds
  • 1 cup (8 oz) water
  • 1-2 tablespoons Javy Vanilla Coffee Syrup
  • 1-2 teaspoons Javy Coffee Concentrate

For Cold Foam:

  • 1/4 cup (2 oz) milk (any type you prefer, dairy or plant-based)

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, heat the water over low heat until it begins to steam. Add the culinary lavender buds and Javy Vanilla Coffee Syrup. Simmer gently for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and strain out the lavender buds using a fine mesh sieve.
  2. To make the cold foam, pour the 1/4 cup of milk into a frothing pitcher or mason jar. You can also add Vanilla extract of Vanilla Syrup for a hint of flavor.
  3. Froth the milk using a milk frother or by vigorously shaking the jar until it becomes frothy and doubled in volume.
  4. Pour Javy Coffee Concentrate in a mug. Strain the infused lavender milk into the mug, discarding the lavender buds. Stir gently to combine.
  5. Spoon the cold foam on top of the lavender latte, creating a thick layer.
  6. If desired, garnish the latte with a sprinkle of culinary lavender buds
