Ingredients

How to make the vanilla almond creamer:

  • 1 cup almonds, soaked (140 g)
  • 2 cups water (480 ml)
  • 2-3 dry pitted dates, chopped
  • 2 cups water (480 ml)
  • Pinch of salt

How to make the Vanilla Almond Iced Latte:

  • 1 cup almond milk creamer
  • 1-2 teaspoons Javy French Vanilla Concentrate
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Directions

  1. Add the almonds, dates, and water into a lidded jar and soak overnight. Choose either 2 or 3 dates, depending on the desired sweetness.
  2. The next day,  drain the soaked almonds and dates. Then transfer them into the blender and add the vanilla, water, and salt, blending the ingredients until you get a creamy, dense mixture.
  3. Use a cheesecloth or nut milk bag to separate the pulp from the liquid, you can use later the almond pulp for cookies or vegan cheesecake, so don’t throw the pulp away.
  4. To make the iced latte, throw all of the ingredients into a blender and blend for at least 10 seconds to obtain an ice-cold creamy liquid. You can also pour then into a tall galss and mix using a milk frother.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve immediately!
